Charles Weill Junior was born in Alsace in Bischeim (Strasbourg) in 1815, son of a Jewish horse merchant, also named Charles Weill (senior) (page 44), born in 1768 to Marmot and died in Malakoff around 1873, more than a century ago.
Augustine Jeanne Claudine Hénos, born on April 20, 1812, was the daughter of Claude Hénos, and Anne Geneviève Dudilieu (or Dudilieux), both of whom died before 1832. She had married Julien Eugène Alexandre Quanone for the first time on September 8, 1832.
Charles spent time in Vienna (Austria) as the tutor of an Austrian prince (archduke at the court of the Emperor of Austria-Hungary). Isidore Frédéric was born in Vienna in 1844, the others were born in Paris.
We know that in 1872, Charles Weill (junior) He was living in Malakoff, in the southern suburbs of Paris, at 35 rue de la Tour (in the house his father had built and where he finished his life). Indeed, he is noted as a witness (see below the text) at the wedding of Albert Hausermann, brother of my great father Rémy Hausermann. Eugene (page 49), (sons of Remy Hausermann page 42), and Marguerite, daughter d'Eugène Weill-George (page 46) The Weill and Hausermann families were already close friends. This could explain this unexpected marriage between a Catholic and a Protestant, without the agreement of Remy, very intransigent in his Calvinism.
Augustine Hénos is dead at age 65 in 1877, at 35 rue de la Tour in Malakoff (Petit-Vanves).
Charles Weill junior is widowed in 1893 (page 451)At his home right now, 12, rue du Cherche Midi.
We have kept their portraits: Charles Weill's is at Jean-Pierre Chedal's in Vierville. Two portraits of Augustine are at Jean-Paul Hausermann's in Vierville (The original is at Claudine Collard-Challier) and Yves Cordelle's in Vierville.

The association of Charles Weill (junior) and Remy Hausermann as a co-witness of the groom is remarkable, 23 years before the marriage in 1895 of the little girl of Charles Weill (Marguerite George) and the son of Remy, (Eugene Hausermann) my grandparents). Weill and Hausermann knew each other in 1872.
