He was born in 1896 at the Institut Agronomique de Paris and left in 1896 at Bizerte to manage a farm. Eugene then, sent by Hersent for the work in the port of BizerteEmile was married to Henriette Dusticier, divorced (with 1 son Jean) from a foreman of the Hersent company named Villatte. This affair caused scandal, and Emile was sent to Argentina (where the Hersent had work), and where he began drinking.
He returned very ill and went to Morocco, accompanied by Henriette in 1912. He started by drawing up the plans of the holy city of Salé, then settled in Sidi Slimane near Rabat. Lyautey, who knew him, offered him the concession of colonization land, to exploit them, and later bought them. He created a very large farm, with irrigation. He had very interested in improving the animal breeds, he had crossed local cows with Schwitzer Dutch, he raised pigs for the Olida factory in Kenitra, as well as sheep.

He married Henriette on 11 March 1924 in Nantes.
He died in the American hospital in Neuilly on the Seine in 1950, and his body was brought back to Sidi Slimane.
He bequeathed all his property to his wife, who subsequently returned to the three children of Jean Villatte.
Tonton Emile and Aunt Henriette were very much loved in Morocco, she was able to finish her life there after the independence of 1956. The heirs had to return to France where they had bought property.
