Dear family, attached is a view of the port where Yves is the boss.era The amount of work that we have to do is 900 million, because there are so many pinard and orange boats to export, it seems, it's not enough.
I realized that we had to forget my cookbook in Versailles, which upsets me well to make future good dishes. If you find it, I would like you to send it to me (or only the written pages).

(Claude) Saturday, dear Dad, dear Mom
Thank you very much for your long letter received before yesterday and which gave us some good news.
I'm sending you a view of the port that Yves is looking after, and we're doing 900 million jobs to expand it, because there are so many boats, barrels and oranges to export that it wasn't enough.
This afternoon Yves is at home. We are in a holiday period. Monday Arabic celebration and Thursday French celebration.
I can hardly accompany Yves on his car tours.. which I regret.

(Yves) These tours are often long and tiring, because it's far away and you have to see a lot of things at once. I had François on the phone yesterday, he went home, but we won't be able to go there for some time (I don't have my traffic cards yet).
