1- Ernest ROUGIERBorn in 1829, died in La Ciotat in 1889, in the hospital, of an acute bronchitis.
He was single and known as very intelligent, but not disciplined. He entered the Arts and Crafts of Châlons, but was excluded following incidents. He worked as a mechanic in various places. He sought in vain a job in Marseilles in 1855, then settled at La Ciotat where he worked at the careers. He went to Marseilles on foot at times. He was in St-Chamond from 1877 to 1899, from which he often went to see his brother Félix in Lyon. He left the memory of a pleasant man when he was not in a state of intemperance.

André MANSARD, born in Paris on 12-9-1897, +1984), was well known to Claude's parents.
André was called to war in 1915, and returned from artillery houses.
He married Jeanne Le Ster, of Breton origin, on Wednesday 24 November 1926, the day after his mother's death. He was widowed by Jeanne in 1962, and without children, he was very isolated. He had been like his father representing in drapery before the crisis of 1930, then worked at CETROCU, then at Citroën in 1931.
André Mansart lived with his wife and father Louis at 44 Rochechouart Boulevard, an apartment that had been his family for more than 25 years.
5 - Charles Félix ROUGIER, born 24-5-1834, died 1910.
He married Thérèse Morcel in 1861 (born 1835, died November 15, 1888).
After living in Lyon (15 St Paul Street in 1877), he bought in 1884, for 20,000F, the "Villa aux Ormes" in St-Cyr at Mont d'Or, which he lived all year round, from 1906.
He died on 13 December 1910 in St-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or, after a diabetic cut (?) at the foot. The family tomb is in the same city.He succeeded in life, in a case of spirits, Noilly-Prat, in Marseilles (where he was first accountant) and then in running the branch of Lyon. He thus formed a solid fortune.
He was very fond of his brothers, notably Henri (the 10th) and Louis (the 12th, father of Maurice Rougier), whom he raised from 12 years to 19 years, and which he directed towards higher education and the Ecole Polytechnique.
He was a well-weighted man who often helped his family.

He was thin, very big, but delicate. He is a man of a fine spirit, very cultivated, passionate about horses, circus, athletics.
At his estate, Ferdinand left all his personal belongings (10.000 frs) at the School of Athens and 8 to 9,000 frs to Jeanne and Thérèse Rougier in rent to 3%, who lived in St Cyr at Montd'Or."

She was very beautiful and she did not marry. Nicknamed "Tantine", she held her father's house with the servant Elise (who entered the service of Felix and Thérèse Rougier in 1876, she left this service in 1931 or 32, at 75 years old, and died in 1933).
Valentine was increasingly ill-advised and her material situation melted with the devaluations of the franc. She sold by living the house of St-Cyr at Mont-d'Or where she received affectionately all the children of the family.
We kept a letter written to Grandpa, on the occasion of Claude's birth October 20, 1929.
