Back to home

The Hausermann spent 6 years in Rosario, interspersed with a 6-month reour in France in 1910.
This return allowed them to purchase the chateau de Vierville (page 496) to serve as a house in the country.
I didn't find a picture of their house in Rosario, we only see a piece of living room and part of a kind of patio.
During the southern summer holidays (January to March), they went to Uruguay Riachuelo (page 4954), and page 49541) on the site of a granite quarry of the company. The Hausermanns had the opportunity to make 2 great trips, at an uncertain date at the Iguazù Falls (page 4951) , and in 1908 in Chile (page 4955) and more The Andes Low Valleys (pages 49551), the high Andes valleys (pages 49552), The Andes Pass (page 49553), beaches of Chile (page 49554), Valparaiso (page 49555), Daddy's accounts in Chile (page 49556).
Daddy used a stereoscopic photo camera whose positives are at Vierville Castle.

You can also consult a Daddy's account book on a business trip to Montevideo in September 1911

Walk in the islands of the Paranà rio off Rosario, aboard a tug of the harbour works, probably the "Saigonnais", which still existed in 1930-39, I boarded there.
We recognize to the right Daddy, to the left Marguerite Quaintaine, friend of Nanny, and also Jean and Suzanne.
Walk in the surroundings of Rosario

The two Quaintain girls were Nanny's friends, 15 to 20 years younger than Nanny and did not marry. Their father, a former officer, was at the Chemins de Fer in Buenos Aires, in the French company different from the CGBA where Louis Cordelle was.
