Carolles, 3 July
My dear Helen,
I arrived in Carolles with an intense warmth that lasted 4 days, but since Wednesday morning abrupt change, end of rain etc. I found Madeleine in good health and Carolles similar to the other years. Not a lot of people on the beach, we are 7 at this moment plus two good, the Martin family arrives on the 10 for an eight-day period. Your departure is approaching, I will be happy to have your new years only from all around you. You must have been very warm in Paris according to the newspapers. Madeleine joins me to kiss you very affectionately.
(in Yvonne Liébaut), Yvonne had called me so we could go together. She had many complications!!!

George and his wife Martha Dupre-Prouveur were very much connected with my grandmother, or Hélène FEIGEMarthe Prouveur died in 1976, very old. She had a sister, Madame Tailleur, born Dupré, also very much related to Good-bye, ma'am..
