Letter from Renaud (St Laurent) to Claude (in Switzerland, pipeau camp)
31 July 1976
Dear Mom
I hope you're playing a good game; I've been to the club and we've done a beret, as if by chance, we've won the same thing, is to say a "micket." Send me a postcard of the house where you are (if we can find it) or send me a positivity card of the country. Is that what is as beautiful as the last pipe camp where we were next to a swimming pool in Swiss, I hope. Is your room and big, is what there is a TV in the house, or a phone in your room. Tomorrow I may have gone to little Jean's house. Everyone left I'm bothering, finally there's Arnaud. I hope the address I put was good; come back soon.

Letter from Renaud to Granie, April 76, typed
Dear Granie I write a letter to show you that I can type with all my fingers, and to give you news of the family. Arnaud came in the first week of his holiday with his mother. He left very early this morning in Grenoble. Martin has a collection of great stones. He has at least thirty kinds of sands, he has so many mice and rats in a small room next to his collection that he bought from the rat for a little fortune, all of them went there, so he installed the end of his collection.
Dad is on a cruise in Brittany right now near the Glénans. Frédéric and Christophe poncent and glaze their boat all day long. I've been riding the electric train (it doesn't work very well, otherwise it's great) in my room. I've got a brand new bike, which runs perfectly, I bought a meter, and maybe a little trumpet that makes gull. It has 5 speeds. I kiss very hard.
