1968-69 - Installation in Fontenay aux Roses

65

Letter from Claude to his father, about seven or October 68, from Fontenay to the Roses.
Grandpa was hospitalized in Chalons for surgery.
..today I woke up early, because Yves left at 6 am – all the kids are asleep too j'en to come chat with you and Granie
So Yves is coming this week – Saturday if it's right for you – to look for you in Chalons... I hope that during the last few days at the clinic you will still consolidate your recovery and that the car trip will not tire you too much.
Here everything is fine. Everyone seems to adapt to their new life. Our house is very nice, sunny, large enough for everyone to have their place. Still q storage work and the house will look installed.
Yesterday I asked a building company that works next door if it could give me sand to make a pile of sand in Renaud. An hour after a small tractor was carrying sand (they gave me... how nice people are!) Renaud is all day in his garden. Qq days ago, I told you that he had opened his forehead on the stairs. I went to Dr. Blanc's place to make him put a point. I found the streets of Provincial Seals and quiet. All this suburbs and my neighborhood in particular are very soothing.
Martin found a nice little boy of his age in front of us, with whom he plays with passion when he returns from school. J-en is happy... he gets so badly heard with his big brothers. Children can play in the street that is a dead end, there is practically no car. Christophe is very happy with his school. We bring them to play at the Sceaux Park for more than an hour every morning. Sunday he went to Laon and was delighted with his day. I believe this school very strongly focused on "centres of interest" all week they had spoken cathedral, geography of the place, etc. Even Renaud was in this school Saturday morning, since the director authorized to put it every Saturday (many parents leave on weekends from Friday, so it doesn't bother to put other children in place).
I have a very clever maid, but it allows me to make plans to visit you often in Versailles.
