Memories of Marguerite Maillet:
"Jeanne Maillet, born in May 1872 in Reims, was educated very well at the high school of young girls. Then married Léon Camusit banker in Reims in February 1891. She died in September 1893 when a son Jean did not survive him.
(The lack of hygiene knowledge was responsible for these frequent deaths of young mothers, it had also happened in 1880 to her sister Louise Botz)
Long faithful to her memory, her husband remarried in 1900 with Louise Collière of Sedan."
Léon Camusit remained a very good friend of the family, notably Suzanne (Grannie), who reminded him of the missing wife.
