Year 1943 in Paris
The year 1943 saw the engagement of the four great cousins, and the marriage of Jean-Pierre.
Brigitte was still in Molière, and Yves was in the third grade at Janson High School.
With the disappearance of the demarcation line on 11 November 1942, the Germans invaded the free zone, communications were facilitated and we saw François and Michel again in Paris.
François was at the X in Villeurbanne, but after the reunification of France, the last semester of Polytechnique was given in Paris from February 43 to July 43. Then François went to the PTT (future Télécom) application school in 43-44 and 44-45.
Michel, having been expelled by the Germans from the Naval School on 25 November 42, was sent by the Navy to the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité in Paris from January to July 43. Then, the Navy wished to recover its cadres, planning to re-arm ships with the probable return of France to the war. Michel was then sent to a unit of "Gendarmerie Légère Maritime", stationed in the Centre de la France, and who was able to keep the future officers safe from the Germans and FTP, until the liberation of Toulon at the end of August 44. Michel was immediately taken on fighter 106, an American patroller of type SC 690, given to France.
