The "Ceylon" was also bringing the family of Louis Cordelle back from Buenos Aires to France. It was on this occasion that the Hausermann and the Cordelle met for the first time. Jean Cordelle and Simone Hausermann, who had been married in 1920, were at the time 11 years old.
