Dear Mr. Hausermann.
We are very pleased to see the efforts you are making to ensure that the work we have entrusted to you is carried out and although the results are not yet significant for your participation, we can make available to you the sum of 25,000Francs for Rosario and for your visit to Bizerte and Dakar.
You can take this money from Rosario, unless you prefer to charge us here to your account.
Or we can for half: either for 12,500F give you 50 shares of Rosario (or 250F per title)
in order to increase your interest in the operation.
(for information, these titles are listed as 1600F, this is only a course of hope that can decrease or rise but may at some point produce an interest justifying it)
In the latter case, we will transfer it to you only when the work is completed being unionized for our titles until that time.
For subsequent releases (I don't know what it is)If necessary, we will look for ways to help you.
Our best memories to Mrs. Hausermann and receive the expression of our very devoted feelings

The second letter is a response from Georges Hersent to the letter from Daddy on 7 March, arriving in Paris around 3 AprilIt was preceded by a telegram sent quickly:
4 April 1906: "We've been on your letter of March 7th - WE'VE BEEN RESPONSIBLE - OUR LETTER FROM MARCH 27th - WE'RE ON THE GROUND - YOU'RE NOT HANGARS AYRES - YOU'RE TO BE INSTRUCTED ON PAYMENT
transcript of the letter of 9 April, received in Rosario around the beginning of May
" 60 rue de London Paris, 9 April 06
Dear Mr. Hausermann, in Rosario,
We have responded in advance to your letter of 7 March, but to encourage you we do not ask for any further relief from 500F per month.
As regards your assessment of the results, you must also take into account the receipts we believe we are getting, either as compensation for labour and material growth or for the other reasons we have maintained.
And we hope that this will change the current results.
The main thing at this time is to continue to give a good boost to the work to achieve overhead savings by not increasing too much time.
We hope you will also find all the peace you need to carry out the matter and we renew our assurance of our very devoted feelings.

The third letter is Jean HersentIt is also a response, confirming that of her brother and specifying it.

Personal
Dear Mr. Hausermann,
Rosario - We confirm our satisfaction with the way in which you have changed the activity of the site and advise you to continue on the path of savings without discouraging you, having good hope that with a normal walk in the works the (the "Société du Port du Rosario", the master of the work)
at the appropriate time to take account of the
(the "Company of Public Works Hersent", responsible for the work and whose local director is Eugene Hausermann)
the considerable effort it has produced.
The main thing is to complete the work within the shortest time, so that the Company can possess the facilities as quickly as possible, so that the revenues follow the step up, it will be all the more willing to intervene in a final regulation, which is still to be expected in a company of this importance.
We will review the claim brief, which we will submit as soon as it is prepared, because there is an urgent need to submit claims to the Company that in order to deal with the payment has several means - 1° the excess revenues - 2° increase of the concession period - 3° decrease of the work expenses between the K.O and K.1.075 by performing as much as possible in wood instead of compressed air.
This last solution would reduce the claim accordingly.
I have thus succinctly outlined the direction of the solutions to be taken by asking you to be very discreet about this, in order to avoid obstructions in the negotiations that the Society will have with the Government.
Bizerte - Although the dredging work is not yet completed in Bizerte, I have Sidi Abdallah and Bizerte's accounts drawn up and will be very happy to hear what you received in gratuities about this work. I find on my notes the sum of 54,000F, you will want to inform me.
Mr. Boulle has been leaving since...
Staff - I think that S.Bénézeth, Dakar's accountant would be available in 1907...
Material - We have in Lisbon 2 blowers in the state of new. If you want them, ask us.
I hope that this letter will find you and your family healthy and ask you to believe in my affectionate feelings.
J. Hersent"
