Léonie Tourte was a Parisian, born in Paris in 1849. Victory Gaveau and Louis-François, says Francis Tourte.
Victory Gaveau (1810 - 1885) had a brother Jean Charles Edmée († 1865), great-grandfather ofEmile Roullier, engineer of the Bridges and Chaussées (1900 - 1955) that Yves' parents knew well, and who had six children and many grandchildren.
For his part, Francis Tourte (1816 - 1891), poet, opera composer (music was often by Georges Douay), and, to live, handkerchief merchant, was of a family of artists: both brother of Félix Tourte (painting), son of Louis-François Tourte, violinist and musician at the course of Charles X and grandson and great-grandson of two famous archetors : François-Xavier Tourte (Turn the Young 1747 - 1835) and Louis Tourte. We kept a medallion from them on the 18th.nd century, representing the Younger, the archer, with the mention: "Novam plectro secente forma gloriam dedit "
Translation:
"He gave the bow a new glory in its present form"
We kept a table service with green decoration LFT, which has been used Hélène Cordelle and must have belonged to the musician. See the reproduction of the bower's workshop, whose bows Pepper are very much wanted today.
The letters of Lamartine, Chateaubriand, Victor Hugo and St Beuve, dated 1840 - 43, were also kept and sent to Francis Tourte, who had sent them his poetic collections. Hélène Cordelle still received copyright on songs.
Léonie Tourte had a brother Georges Tourte (born 1837), grandfather ofHelen Milson - Caille, died without posterity on 11 January 1971 in Paris (his daughter Janine Caille, doctor of law, had died in 1970). His important legacy (15 million francs of the time then came back, not to her husband's family René Caille, who was the source of this fortune, but to Hélène Cordelle and Thérèse Dupuis, the only legal heirs (5nd After the intervention of a genealogist who was paid 30% of the estate and after payment of the fees, if the daughter of Hélène Caille had died after her mother, the estate would have returned to the state. See the act of notoriety of the Caille succession
Léonie Tourte married in 1870 Alexandre Feige, son of a shirt dealer. They had 5 children including Yves' grandmother, (Good Mom) Hélène Feige - Cordelle.
Léonie had a painter uncle who would have ruined the whole family, the parents having sold their property to pay back the creditors. She apparently held a small business (from the shirt trade of her husband who died in 1896) in Paris. She then lived in Sèvres, then from 1909 to 1912, in Paris, with her daughters who had become widowed prematurely (in 1909 Thérèse, widow Bidel, in 1912 Hélène, widow of Louis Cordelle, grandfather of Yves), in an apartment, 2 rue Pierre Curie.
In 1935 she lived in Besançon, with her daughter Thérèse, remarried to Pierre Dupuis in 1919.
She died in Paris in 1936, and followed the Dupuis (Pierre Dupuis was at the Banque de France).
